“Earth’s resting hymn”: Poetic Murmur 9

The black box opens,
Snakes twirl inside the darkness,
emerge out of the serendipity,
watching the mind of an Owl.
She gazes deep inside the eye,
of the snake. A killer that’s penchant,
primitive, and ruthless, yet alert,
curious, attuned to cosmic gaze and
insights, chanting the earth’s resting hymn,
with no lyrical metre or pattern.
Creation is never confined, defined,
or rectified for the whims of few, waiting
to feed on dew, drops of crystal elixir all,
dropping its drops. The pain wrenching inside
your cells, break open DNA, metamorphosize,
deep poison inside the bones, inside the glitz of bone
marrow, as if deeply entrenched could be any more
deeper, Alas the snakes, all form within the bodies,
and open your energy centres like an unwrapped book
the book opened for everyone, not the chosen one,
willing to lose their sense of self for the book,
to get yourself hooked and vanish inside the bliss of darkness…
